Well this one is really more video oriented, since I usually just veer all over the place in my videos, and that happens here.
But, let’s summarize:
My two favorite cigars are Romeo y Julieta Vintage (the best), and Ashton Cabinet (almost the best, and the topic of this review.) In this instance, I have an Ashton Cabinet Pyramid, which is 6 inches long with a 52 ring gauge, and has a rating of 88 points from Cigar Aficionado. It is rated as “mild.” (mild to medium is my jam.)

Anyway, the cigar in this instance does not disappoint. I get it lit up while talking about cigars and watches, primarily my Submariner, which I wore almost exclusively for years until this year. There’s not much else to say here about it because I don’t have the flavor words - so instead I read what others have written and admire them. Here are a couple of reviews that I cited:
And that’s about it!
My next installment will feature a review of the Detroit Watch Company’s “Louis XIV Moonphase” — which, since it’s a moonphase, I figured it would be fun to film it during the eclispe. So, fun with this absolutely fabulous watch and some of the other usual props.
One of my kids says my videos are “pixely,” and I need like a better camera or perhaps to export at higher quality, but when I first started working with Final Cut I exported the defaults and it was like fourteen trillion gigabytes or something, so… didn’t work. Meantime he’s gonna find me an actual camera to use so I’m not using iphone/laptop to make pixely pixelvids. By the end of all this I’ll actually know what I’m doing :)
I still haven’t made a hot sauce video, what’s up with that! My plan there is to use Chik-fil-A nuggets as the sauce carriers, but the nearest one is like 30 minutes away so… KFC? Bell & Evans? It simple MUST be chicken, but I’m determined not to use McD nuggest or BK chicken fries.
I also have some cool cars to review. Those will be fun. Stay tuned!
Thanks for reading / watching.
